Wildlife Travel Tour Packages India

DAY 01 Arrive DELHI
Arrive in Delhi. You are met and assisted upon arrival in Delhi and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 02 In DELHI
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing of Old Delhi. Start with a visit to Jama Masjid the largest mosque in India. Later drive past the magnificent Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, built on the banks of River Yamuna by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Then, visit Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial).

In the afternoon proceed for a tour of New Delhi. Visit the mausoleum of emperor Humayun a forerunner of the Mughal style of architecture. Drive past the India Gate (World War I memorial), The President's Residence, Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture. At the end of the day visit the 12th century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand carved for its entire height of 234 feet.

DAY 03 DELHI NAGPUR
Arrive in Nagpur by a flight from Delhi or Mumbai. Upon arrival straightaway drive to Kanha. On arrival in Kanha check in to your Resort. Rest of the day is at leisure to and get ready for the next day’s Jungle Safaris.

Kanha National Park is spread over 360 sq. miles and offers some of the best Tiger sightings in India. It is home to over 22 species of mammals including the rare ground barasingha, sambhar, chausingha sloth, nilgai and over 200 species of birds. Shravanthal, an old earthen bound tank in central Kanha is a major watering hole and a great place for animal spotting.

DAY 04 At KANHA
Enjoy 02 safaris today one at sunrise before breakfast and one in the afternoon post lunch. Elephant Ride is available every morning subject to Tiger sighting, allowing you the chance to spot tigers and other wildlife from this unique vantage point. Regular Slide shows on wildlife are held at the Resort along with the talks by expert naturalists in the evening.

DAY 05 At KANHA
Enjoy another early morning safari into the jungle. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Go for the afternoon safari as well, returning to the hotel by evening. Most of the resorts have libraries with books catering to all aspects of wildlife in India. Thus, you could spend your time relaxing in the resort with an interesting book between the safaris.

DAY 06 KANHA PENCH
After an early morning game drive followed by breakfast drive to Pench National Park. On arrival, check‐in into your resort for a relaxed evening.

Pench National Park is named after river Pench, which flows from north direction to south through the National Park. It is located in the southern reaches of the Satpura Hill Ranges in the Seoni and Chhindwara Districts in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. The terrain is undulating, with most of the area covered by small hill ranges, steeply sloping on the sides. The Park is situated in an area that holds a significant place in the natural history of Central India. The description of its natural beauty, richness in flora and fauna has appeared in numerous wildlife books dating back to 17th century. Books written in the 19th and early 20th century by famous naturalists like Captain J. Forsyth and Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book explicitly present the detailed panorama of nature's abundance in this tract.

DAY 07 At PENCH
Enjoy the early morning and afternoon game drives to the National Park to continue your quest for the Tiger.

DAY 08 PENCH – NAGPUR -MUMBAI
Start the day with an early morning jungle safari followed by breakfast at the resort. After lunch, you are driven to Nagpur to board your flight to Mumbai.

Mumbai is the financial capital of India. It has a history of incredible transformation from its foundation to the present day, where small islands were strung together and land between them reclaimed to form the bustling metropolis it is today. A metropolis in the true sense of the word, the city has loads to see during the day and a vibrant life at night.

DAY 09 In MUMBAI
After breakfast take an excursion to Elephanta Caves which are an hourʹs boat ride from the basalt facade of the Gateway of India. This arch of yellow basalt was erected on the waterfront in 1924.

On your return from Elephanta, drive past the Afghan Church, the Secretariat of the Maharashtra Government and along the famous Marine Drive. Visit the amazing Hanging Gardens. Drive past Haji Ali Mosque, a shrine located on an outcrop 500 m. out at sea, linked by a causeway. Lastly visit the Prince of Wales Museum. This magnificent heritage building, situated on the famous Crescent Site, is a landmark of south Mumbai. The museum has various sections, including the Maritime Heritage gallery, the first of its kind in India.

In the evening you will be transferred to the International Airport to board flight for your onward journey.
